I know it has been asked a lot... but would the skin specialists out there answer an acne treatment Q please?

I have pretty average acne for a teenager, and have never really bothered much about it but i would like to start something. The most advertised products out there are proactive and clinique 3 step. I went to do some reasearch and was absolutly overwhelmed. There are so many websites and it is really impossible to tell how reliable they are, or even if they are run by a company!

So, dermatoligists or anyone who knows about skin, of the low-priced range, what is the safest for skin?

I%26#039;m more interested in long-term skin care than a treatment which will damage my skin in the long run but solve my acne now.

After safety, of course, I%26#039;d like to get the most effective.

I know this question has been asked many times, so i appreciate your answers! Basically, I would like to know which low-price-range treatments are safest, and then which are most effective.

Thankyou!!!

Sweet|||Rapid clear is good, if you havn%26#039;t tried it yet, i suggest you use the scrub and spot cream

with the scrub wash your face 2 times a day with hot water,

and drink a lot of water, and don%26#039;t eat really oily foods, make sure your hair is clean and not always on your face, tie it back

also Jason idea of pillow case changing is good|||Believe it or not, a very safe and effective way to control acne on the face and head is to change your pillow cases daily.|||I like Nivea Young.

It%26#039;s light.

And I also like the body shop stuff =D

Also, just have a good diet, exercise, drink lots of water and change your bedsheets and you should be good to go! and dont touch your face during the day if you can help it. also dont let your hair get on your skin. even though i%26#039;m guilty of that lol i have a fringe.|||Dear any of the strong medications will cause harm in the long run. n if u get any acne cream, make sure the intensity isnt more than 2%.

I also think about long run n so i%26#039;ll tell u dat home remedies are best for people like us.

Put toothpaste on acnes over night(the one with peroxide or mint works best). After u wash it, moisturise ur face coz it makes the skin dry.

Use a good acne medication twice a day.

Use clay mask or fuller%26#039;s earth mask twice a week.

Crush neem/mint leaves n put them on acnes for 30 mins everyday.

Splash hot warm water on face for 1 minute n then wipe it with towel. Put heated honey or half spoon honey +4 drop tea tree oil for 15 minutes- do it twice a day.

Water fruits n vegs in diet +7 hour sleep, thats the real deal.

Dats what helped me :-) good luck|||Well... low-price.... Ducray has some good treatments. They%26#039;re about 20$ for a face wash, I bought it and it lasted me almost a year using it morning and night. I bought the anti-acne treatment (keracnyl) and it lasted me about three months so.... it%26#039;s a good value for the price. It has glycolic acid. Helps to clear out blackheads wonderfully.
