I use head and shoulder shampoo and purpose bar soap for the face, they both work wonders. i googled home remedys for acne and thats where I found out about it.; plus it makes your face really soft|||i use avar ((avar-e dont know which)) %26amp;%26amp; it dries them up then they are gone like that.. i LOVE it..|||Retin A Micro. I tried everything before using that and it%26#039;s the only thing that has helped. You need a prescription for it but if you have insurance it should be covered and one tube will last for 3 or 4 months.
Proactiv helped for a short time but Retin-A Micro is the best.|||my brother is treating his acne with proactive and he looks a lot better. he used to look like a pepperoni pizza.|||It depends on the type of acne you want to treat. Cystic (deep under the skin) acne and surface acne can both be treated but with different products.
Cystic is best treated under the direction of a dermatologist to prevent scarring.
You can find a lot of information on the website www.acne.org. There is a bb there where folks post about the efficacy of different treatments.|||I have found that Differin works pretty well. Over the counter stuff doesn%26#039;t work though. It%26#039;s all garbage, and that includes that Pro-Active crap all the celebrities try and sell on TV.
