Do anybody knows what is the best treatment for acne except from proactive.i mean tried and tested.?

My teenage son was just at the pediatric specialist who said that washing your face (with plain soap, like Ivory) and a BufPuf (to exfoliate) and then putting on an over the counter product with Benzyl Peroxide is the very best, and oldest, treatment with proven success!
