Can someone recommend a good acne treatment that doesn%26#039;t make your face all oily, but doesn%26#039;t completely dry it out either?
I%26#039;m using proactiv鈩?right now, but my face is all oily..
And something that works fast?
And not like SUPER EXPENSIVE?
heeelp D:|||My two favorite answers about acne made it to this question multiple times. 1.) Go to a dermatologist....because they know how to cure acne, anyone who goes to a derm has instantly cleared skin (sarcasm)
and 2.) wash your face. Greeaattt idea, let%26#039;s dry out and irritate their skin so it get%26#039;s oilier and causes more breakouts.
Really great advice, guys, thanks. Have you ever actually followed this advice and gotten results? Please.
Anyways, three things that you can do right now to help clear your face are to make a mask with baking soda, an aspirin mask, and then use a little honey after you%26#039;re done. Baking soda masks are great because they%26#039;ll exfoliate your skin and won%26#039;t irritate it. This exfoliation helps stop pimples because your face won%26#039;t have all the excess dead skin on it that helps form outbreaks. Just mix a little bit of baking soda with a tiny bit of water. The paste should be thick enough where it sticks pretty well to your face. Just apply the mask and then rinse it off.
An aspirin mask is just as simple to make. Just get some uncoated aspirin pills from your local pharmacy or supermarket. Crush up 2 or 3 into a powder and mix with a small amount of water. This paste should be a little thicker than the baking soda paste; you want it to stick to your face. This mask also exfoliates but the real benefit is from the aspirin itself. It%26#039;s basically the same thing as salicylic acid, which will help clear pores, clear dead skin as well as dry up any current breakouts you have. Leave this on for about 10-15 minutes and then just rinse off. I wouldn%26#039;t use both of these one right after the other in the beginning as it might be to harsh for your skin right away. Try doing one in the morning and one in the evening, or even use one per day until you see how they work with your skin. These are generally gentle enough that just about anyone can use them, however.
The last ingredient is honey. I would opt for raw, unprocessed honey but normal honey is OK. Simply put some honey on your face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This is a wonderful moisturizer and on top of that, honey has some anti-bacterial properties which will help eliminate current breakouts. I strongly recommend you opt for raw honey as it has more beneficial properties. All together, everything should cost about $8-$10 and should last you a very long time.
The only problem with treating your acne externally like this is that it will just keep coming back as all acne, no matter how old you are, is a hormonal problem that starts inside of your body. The only way to treat and cure acne lies in dealing with the internal problems. Acne is 100% curable as long as you treat the internal problems and not the external symptoms.|||toothpaste works the best|||Acne is caused by hormonal disbalance which is perfectly normal in all teenagers and quite a few adults.
Therefore, hormonal therapy would be a useful thing to do.
But you can%26#039;t do that without a prescription from your physician.
So I would recommend:
1. Washing your face twice a day (with a face wash for sensitive skin).
2. Applying a small amount of make-up powder. That will help you hide the shine. But do make sure that you remove it as soon as you don%26#039;t need it, e.g. when you come home from work/college/school.
3. If that doesn%26#039;t help, ask your doctor for some antiobiotics. They will remove the acne, but I am not so sure about the oiliness.
Hope that helps :)|||If you%26#039;re prone to acne, no cream or pill is going to work in the long run.
If you really want to cure acne for good, you need to do it in a natural manner. Otherwise you could have acne into your adult years like thousands of other people do. (I just got rid of mine for good after 12 years)
If you check out my blog there are numerous ways you can get clear naturally.|||Go to the doctors they will prescribe you some|||Check out website below. It may solve your problem.|||Hi
From my experience If you really want to get rid of your acne there are two recommended ways that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.
Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that%26#039;s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.
There are only few decent Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to treat your acne from the inside.
Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their guides they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.
There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it%26#039;s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.
When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:
ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.
From my experience Clearpores cleansing system work very well. Check this website to learn a lot more about Clearpores and their solutions to different skin types:

I hope that these tips will be helpful for you|||First of all, toothpaste does not work to clear pimples. All it does is irritate the skin to the point of it drying out, which ultimately %26quot;clears%26quot; away your pimple. But then you have irritated skin in the end. Not so good in my book.
This is going to sound nuts, but you should try making a mask out of 2 parts water and 1 part yeast. It%26#039;s all natural, doesn%26#039;t irritate the skin, and won%26#039;t make it oily. You just leave it on, let it dry and cake, then scrub it off with a moist towel.
Depending on what type of skin you have, however, your treatment might differ. You could have really bad acne, or something mild. You really should book an appointment with a dermatologist so they can tell you what type of acne you have and how to target it.|||Hi,
Good skin care can keep acne under control and at a mild level.
Wash the skin twice a day using a mild soap, especially after exercise. Avoid scrubbing the skin. Hard scrubbing of the skin is harmful because it irritates the openings of the oil glands and can cause them to be more tightly closed.
Avoid putting any oily or greasy substances on the face. Oily and greasy substances make acne worse by blocking oil glands. If unavoidable, use water-based cover-up cosmetics, and wash them off at bedtime.
Shampoo the hair daily. Avoid hair tonics or hair creams especially greasy ones. These substances spread to the face and aggravate the acne.
Avoid picking blackheads as this delays healing. In general, it is better not to %26quot;pop%26quot; pimples.
Exercise regularly and keep fit.
Don%26#039;t stop the acne medicine too soon. It may take up to 8 weeks for a good response.|||going to the drs is your best bet thats what i did|||The Acnezine solution is a revolutionary acne skin care system formulated to treat acne from the inside-out. Acne and Exercise
%26lt;p%26gt;Moderate exercise is actually good for your skin. It helps you maintain a healthy body and manage your stress levels, too. If you find your acne is aggravated by regular exercise, then you may want to examine your routine. What do you wear? Where do you go? How hard do you work? Exercise-related acne is usually caused by something you put on your body rather something you do with it. Remove these outside factors, and you may put an end to your workout breakouts. Here are just a few things to watch for. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Make-up. When exercising, wear as little make-up as possible. Even oil-free and non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging) cosmetics can clog pores if worn during heavy exercise. When you鈥檙e done working out, wash as soon as possible. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Sunscreen. If your regimen takes you outdoors, always wear sunscreen. While acne may improve slightly after brief periods in the sun, studies show that prolonged exposure actually promotes comedones (clogged pores) and, of course, sun damage. Some kinds of acne medication make skin more sensitive to the sun, so sunscreen is even more important. When choosing a sunscreen, look for products that are oil-free and have a protection factor of at least SPF 15 for both UVA and UVB rays. Like make-up, sunscreen can travel across the skin鈥檚 surface and lodge in the pores 鈥?so wash immediately after working out. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Clothing. If you鈥檙e prone to body acne, avoid garments made exclusively with lycra or nylon. Why? Some synthetic fabrics can trap the heat and moisture against your skin, creating a fertile breeding ground for the bacteria that contribute to acne. For moderate exercise, your best bet is lightweight, loose-fitting cotton, or a lycra-cotton blend. Natural fabrics allow the skin to breathe, and loose garments are less likely to cause friction. If you鈥檙e exercising vigorously and working up a good sweat, however, you may want to try some of the new fabrics designed to wick moisture away from your skin. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Equipment. Some people are more likely to get acne or have their lesions aggravated in the areas affected by sports equipment. The best defense against friction-related breakouts is a good fit 鈥?make sure your helmet doesn鈥檛 slide around on your forehead, or your wetsuit isn鈥檛 too tight under the arms. You can also curb equipment-triggered breakouts by lining your helmet with a layer of soft, washable cotton fabric; it%26#039;s a great use for those old t-shirts, too. And no matter what the sport, it鈥檚 always a good idea to keep your equipment clean and dry when not in use. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Moisture. Mom was right: You should get out of those wet clothes! No matter how you get your exercise 鈥?treadmill, trail, tennis court, or whatever 鈥?don鈥檛 sit around in your sweaty clothes or wet bathing suit when you鈥檙e done. If you can, shower off immediately and change into dry clothes before driving home. If this isn鈥檛 possible, change into dry clothes and wipe down as well as you can. When toweling sweat off your face, always use a clean towel, and blot gently rather than wipe. Vigorous wiping can irritate your skin, driving make-up and sunscreen deeper into the pores. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;Acne %26amp; Exercise - Showering. Again, it鈥檚 best to shower immediately after working out. You may want to use a medicated exfoliant cleanser, but always be gentle with your skin. Scrubbing harder isn鈥檛 going to make you any cleaner, or make your acne go away 鈥?and it may actually irritate existing lesions or promote the development of new ones. If you can%26#039;t shower right away, you can still curb breakouts by wiping down with medicated pads; keep a few in your gym bag just in case. %26lt;/p%26gt;%26lt;p%26gt;So keep up the good work! A healthy exercise program is an integral part of your overall health; and a healthy body is more likely to have healthy skin. Just keep an eye on the various factors that accompany your regimen, and try to remove the acne triggers 鈥?you鈥檒l be on your way to breakout-free workouts.|||i just went to the drugstore and used clean and clear(cream cleanser one )....it freshens ur skin and reduces the oil greatly...cleared up my skin after like 3 times using it.
