Anyone while prego used topical acne treatment & baby normal, healthy?

im 29weeks pregnant and i just cant help thinking would my baby come out normal and healthy.. i had my last period nov.29 2007. and i started my skin care/acne treatment with dermatologist on december without realizing i was pregnant, i started research about the components of the acne medications i had but all the info i gathered seemed insufficient.any way, i confirmed i was pregnant last january and was already 4weeks pregnant then, i decided to totally stop applying all my topical acne medications at 8weeks till now. i know the unfavorable effects of isotretinoin, etc. on the baby thats why im so worried....

to all moms out there, what do u think? have u had any experience like this? and how%26#039;s your baby?....

sorry if this is lengthy -.-|||You should be fine. Using the acne med. shouldn%26#039;t hurt anything about your pregnancy unless it has a precaution or warnings about using it during pregnancy. If you%26#039;re still concerned though I%26#039;d ask your doctor. If it does have a warning about use during pregnancy you stopped using it so early that it shouldn%26#039;t have any affect what so ever on the baby. Other than that I don%26#039;t think you have anything to worry about. Congrats~!! =D|||How are you 29 weeks pregnant. You should be a little ahead of that. I am due Sept. 22nd, and the first day of my lmp was 12-15-2007. Unless you ovulated late, but you are probably a little further along then you think. Anyways, before taking any medications or using any creams ask your doctor. Some may have side effects on the baby. I doubt if it is a cream you will have a problem but check anyways. You dont want it to have any effects on your baby. Good luck and take care.|||It is probably fine to use a topical treatment. I have found that tea tree oil is great to get rid of acne, and safe so you can use that if you are still uncomfortable with the topical treatment from your dermatologist.
