Retin A cream acne treatment?

I was told to start using retin a cream for my mild acne and i started yesterday (last night) and i was told that it would worsen my condition first before making it better. I woke up this morning and found my skin to be a bit worse so then i applied a non oil moisturizer and it looks a bit better. I was just wondering how long it will take before my skin actually strts looking better because its quite harsh going to school with my face the way it is but i dont want to stop using it because then i would of just been going through this for no reason. Also would using cetaphil cleanser in the morning help with the treatment as im using that to clean my face in the morning to remove the retin a and dead skin cells it leaves on your face, would it make the treatment more faster?|||Try using the cetaphil cleanser and moisterizer, because when working with creams you want to be as mild as possible.
