What is the best ACNE treatment?

I need some opinions of acne treatment, everything from prescriped to over the counter, anything you%26#039;ve tried that works let me know, regimens, anything.

I have weird skin, its combo, oily and dry.

Also, I%26#039;ve tried proactive, doesnt work. it actually caused me to GET acne because I got milia because of it and started to pick at the milia ( if you know treatment for milia let me know as well )

I%26#039;m so sick of suffering with acne, it really is something that gets me down. I dont even like leaving the house. PLEASE let me know!|||There is a drug called Accutane. I%26#039;m not sure if its very popular anymore because of all the negative press it got. But, it worked wonders for me. I was prescribed 2 antibiotic treatments for my acne before that, and instead of constant acne, I just had bad %26quot;waves%26quot; of acne.

Accutane is a dangerous drug though. You shouldn%26#039;t take it if you are at risk for suicide or depression or if you have an amune disorder, or if your pregnant or plan to become pregnant. You need to get blood tests every month (to make sure your liver is still working), for... 6 months I think? Then thats it, you take yourself off the drug and your glands are permanently altered. No more acne (for me anyways). I had no side effects myself. There has been cases where patients committed suicide.|||i have found that washing your face three times a day with hot waater. then putting you face in a bowl of ice cold water helps stop acne|||I got good results with the program I%26#039;ve been using for the past 5 or 6 years. After about 40 years of bad skin and trying everything under the sun - I%26#039;m finally acne-free, have a much more even skin tone, and have reduced the fine lines and superficial scarring.

Here%26#039;s where I get it:

Hope this helps!|||there is no such thing as %26quot;the best acne treatment%26quot;. It really depends on the type and genetics of your skin. So it only means that you have to try everything and see what works best for you. For me, it%26#039;s benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid and topical niacinamide.|||Go to your dermatologist and get them to prescribe something with retin-A in it. You must use it morning and night and wash your face. Wash your face twice a day no matter what. No matter how drunk you are when you get home in the evening or how late you stay up studying.|||I know how you feel. I had a bad experience with ProActive. I recently purchased the %26quot;Murad%26quot; Starter Kit from www.acnecomplex.com. It can also be found in Sephora or on www.sephora.com. Give it some time and you should see results. If you%26#039;re willing to see a Dermatologist, I recommend you ask about %26quot;Duac.%26quot; My brother had acne problems and passed on his tubes of Duac when his skin was clear. Duac is stronger than %26quot;Differin%26quot; and has quicker results. I hope that helps. Good luck.|||I have tried the one less stress stuff that the first girl said......doesn%26#039;t work for me at all...but you may try it.|||I would say ProActive.

My friend says its great. And its rated #1 acne treatment by Allure magazine.

Good luck!|||do yourself a favor and see a dermatologist asap. I was in your shoes last year. I also had tried proactive and it made my skin even worse!

once i saw the dermatologist he gave me a prescription for a simple acne antibiotic and it does wonders.|||my brother had really bad ance and nothing worked for him [not even proactive] so he went to the normal doctor, and the doctor prescribed him a gel to put on his face and pills that he took for like 3 weeks. and all of his ance was gone in two weeks, i suggest you try it i don%26#039;t recall what the nbame of the jel is but it works wonders! this option is if you dont want to go the dermintologist, but i think you should just go to your normal doctor!

good luck and have some confidence, you know everyone had ance at some point in their lives. :]

good luck my friend :]|||Neutrogena One Less Stress power foam wash works wonders! It makes Acne one less stress in your life!|||I tried proactiv, and it irritated me so badly (my eyelids actually swelled up for a whole day!)

It took me years but I finally gave up on the store-bought remedies and decided to seek professional help. At my last doctor appointment, I asked if i could visit a dermatologist. I visited a derm. (the down-payment only cost $12) and she prescribed me with two creams - Differin and Duac. She gave me several samples that have lasted me months. And when she gives you the perscription, she gives you a coupon that makes the full size bottles of cream free for the first time (and the bottles last about 6 months). All you need to use are those two creams and any old moisturizer or face wash from the store. Going to the dermatologist was the best thing I ever did for my acne. Good luck.

Ps. Dont try accutane! Search it up if you dont believe me. Soo many bad side effects. It%26#039;s not worth ruining your health.
