Which Acne Treatment will clear my face the best/fastest?

Clean And Clear Advantage(Acne Control Kit), Neutrogena(The pink one that%26#039;s supposed to smell good, I%26#039;m not sure of the exact name), or Regular Soap.

DO NOT RECOMMEND PRO ACTIV OR CLEARASIL,

They don%26#039;t work on me! Pro activ doesn%26#039;t do a thing, even after 5 months and Clearasil just gives me more acne.

IF YOU WANT MORE INFO READ THE FOLLOWING, IF NOT JUST ANSWER:

My friend used to use regular acne products on her face and it was bad, like you couldnt see a single clear spot on her forehead, and her entire face was always swollen with them and then she started using Soap and it got better. That%26#039;s why I included that.

I used to use The Clean and Clear Acne Kit but all of my friends said that it stopped working after awhile, I want something that%26#039;ll work for atleast a year on my skin. Everyone said it stopped working after a month. It worked really good on my skin at first but i stopped using it after my friends told me this(i had been using it for about 3 weeks)

I used to use Neutrogena All the time and it always cleared things up, not super fast, but fast and It was good. I really liked it, i%26#039;ve never kept up a schedule with The new kind i have to know if it works or not So, I%26#039;m just going to go with whatever is most recommended.

My Skin is oily, and delicate. I stress alot and I never know what works. I%26#039;ve also asked another question like this but I didn%26#039;t seem to get answers I had hopped for.

DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF THE OTHER THINGS I HAVE SAID.

Anything else, Feel free to recommend but also if you had to pick please include one of those ^^^ in your answer.|||Ok, I had bad acne on my face and I did an Aspirin facial. What you do is take a couple Aspirin tablets and crush them up into a little bowl. Mix the powder with some water until it becomes a paste. Apply to your face and spread around evenly. Keep this on for a couple minutes and it should sooth pain and cure acne. Wash off with warm water and splash cold water on your face to shrink your pores. Dab dry with a towel. I do not recommend doing this more than once a day!!!

*Is most likely to take more than one time*

Take the following self-care steps to lessen the effects of acne:

Clean your skin gently with a mild, non-drying soap (like Dove, Neutrogena, or Basics.) Remove all dirt or make-up. Wash once or twice a day, including after exercising. However, avoid excessive or repeated skin washing.

Shampoo your hair daily, especially if it%26#039;s oily. Comb or pull your hair back to keep the hair out of your face. Avoid tight headbands.

Try not to squeeze, scratch, pick, or rub the pimples. Although it might be tempting to do this, it can lead to scarring and skin infections.

Avoid touching your face with your hands or fingers.

Avoid greasy cosmetics or creams. Look for water-based or %26quot;non-comedogenic%26quot; formulas. Take make-up off at night.

If these steps do not clear up the blemishes to an acceptable level, try over-the-counter acne medications. These creams and lotions are applied directly to the skin. They may contain benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid. They work by killing bacteria, drying up the oil, and causing your skin to peel.

If the pimples are still a problem, a dermatologist can prescribe stronger medications and discuss other options with you.

Prescription medicines include:

Oral antibiotics (taken by mouth) such as minocycline, doxycycline, and tetracycline

Topical antibiotics (applied to the skin) such as clindamycin or erythromycin

Synthetic vitamin A derivatives called retinoids such as retinoic acid cream or gel (Retin-A) and isotretinoin pills (Accutane) -- pregnant women and sexually active adolescent females should NOT take Accutane, as it causes severe birth defects

Prescription formulas of benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, resorcinol, salicylic acid

Birth control pills can sometimes help clear up acne. (In some cases, though, they may make it worse.)

Your doctor may also suggest chemical skin peeling, removal of scars by dermabrasion, or removal or drainage of cysts.

A small amount of sun exposure may improve acne. However, excessive exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet rays is not recommended because it increases the risk of skin cancer.
