Diannette Pill for Acne Treatment?

Did it work for you?


How long before it properly started to work?


Any side effects?


Does it get worse before it gets better?


Also, I know when you take it for birth control you have to normally start after your next period, is this the same when you are using it for acne? Or can you begin using it straight away?





I just want other peoples views and I understand that it responds to everyone differently, although my cousins both use it for acne and it has completly cleared up their skin.

I understand the risks but this really is last resort as NOTHING else works, and believe me i have tried alot!|||I took Dianette for a few years and I would NOT recommend it personally. I took it for acne and birth control and it made my acne the worst it had ever been for about a year. I put on quite a lot of weight while I was on it, it made me lose my sex drive and made me REALLY depressed! It%26#039;s quite well-known for causing depression I think. But like you say, things affect people differently and I%26#039;m presuming your cousins didn%26#039;t have any trouble with it. I know 2 people who didn%26#039;t get on with it and 1 person who did. In answer to your last question, if you do decide to start taking it and you%26#039;re not using it for birth control, I dont think it matters when your period is. Hope this helps.
